in het internationale dorpje melay staat dit schattige huisje, ook wel bekend als le petit chateau. voor wie slechts een pied a terre in frankrijk zoekt, is dit ideaal. het huis wordt verkocht zoals op de fotos, compleet gemeubileerd. het heeft beneden een gezellige authentieke keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien. de keuken heeft een mooi oud balkenplafond en een gevoegde stenen muur. ook de oude stenen gootsteen is nog aanwezig. via de openslaande deuren achterin kun je direct het parkje van het dorp betreden. als verwarming is er een pellet kachel. via de oude houten trap naar boven kom je in de zeer ruimte woonkamer met veel natuurlijk licht. ook hier vallen de gevoegde muren en de oude houten vloer meteen op. op de 2e etage bevindt zich een moderne badkamer en genoeg ruimte voor 2 grote bedden. het huis lijkt klein, maar wat een ruimte zit er toch nog in het huis staat in een rust straatje met achter een mooi parkje met jeu de boules baan. aan de zijkant van het huis is een klein tuin tuintje waar je een tafel en stoelen kunt neerzetten om te genieten van de zon en her franse leven. het huis wordt momenteel actief verhuurd voor vakanties. in het levendige dorp melay (bekend van tv, ook wel het ibiza van het noorden genoemd) zijn verder nog 5 b et bs, 2 bar/ restaurants en een vrouw die lokaal groente verkoopt. wat wil je nog meer
